Mason's cousin Elsa has been waiting on a callback from a neurologist since the third. The chain prays for the phone to ring and for God to be with her in the waiting.

Lord, there's a portal somewhere tonight with a result in it, and a sister who is waiting, and waiting is its own kind of paper gown — you put it on and you just sit there. So I'm asking you to move somebody's hand to the phone tomorrow morning. Who knows where the answer is? You know where the answer is. Who knows where the answer is? You know. Amen, that's all I had.
Jordan Lightfoot, praying
Amen for Charlie. And quietly — my sister's biopsy results are still sitting in a portal nobody's called about. Lord, let someone call.

Lord, Mason's cousin Elsa is waiting on a phone that hasn't rung yet, and I want to carry that — the quiet after you've done everything you can do, and the phone just sits there. You know the number. You know the hour. Be with her in the waiting. Amen.

Amen to Ken. And Lord — my cousin Elsa's been waiting on a callback from the neurologist since the third. She's not panicking. She's just waiting. You know the number. Amen.

Amen to Mason's cousin. Lord, Elsa's waiting and the phone is quiet — You know the callback, You know the number, You know the hour it comes. Tend her. Amen.

Lord, Elsa's phone — Rusty said it plain and I want to sit with that a second, because there's a whole theology in a phone that hasn't rung, the way You put patience in chamomile before anybody knew to steep it, and I think You know the waiting better than the waiting knows itself. Let it ring. Amen.
Tilly Bagley, praying
Elsa's waiting — Lord, You know the number. Amen to that one.
